Let’s talk about them below.
Gaming headphones generally follow a standard industry design that is most appealing to gamers. The headsets are available in a variety of colours to give it that “gamer” look.
However, my mixed feelings arose after I first saw the Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless. Although I thought I knew everything about the headphones, the design is unique.
These headphones are not flashy, but they do come in black and white colours. They also advertise RGB. This refers to the Corsair logo that is outside of the earcups.
The headphones’ design is not as appealing as it could be, especially considering the originality of the product. It’s similar to the packaging. I feel it was a lazy effort and could have been approved.
It appears boxy at first glance and I was initially puzzled by its shape.
The omnidirectional microphone is connected to the left earcup. The headband connects to the back of ear cups and is fixed at a forward angle. It cannot be adjusted. This look is clumsy and I was not impressed.
It is good to know that the Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless offers many functionality options.
The Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless is the perfect choice for anyone who needs accessibility. The power button and mute buttons for the mic are located on the left earcup. When folded up, the mic automatically mutes. This feature was so efficient and I loved it. This makes the mute button on my left earcup redundant.
The headband can be adjusted up to 4cm on either side. This is more than enough. The wired MicroUSB charging port is located under the left earcup. There’s also a volume dial that allows you to adjust your sound quickly. The volume dial was a nice addition to the functionality of the headphones.
Although the design is awkward, it is a great headphone and offers all the features that are promised. Corsair should be careful as the Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless seems to offer premium functionality.
The headphones feel cheap. I noticed it first when I took them out of their box. I was afraid I would break them. The plastic packaging was thin and they didn’t provide much resistance when I took them out of their packaging. They don’t stretch out well, so I was afraid they would snap.
The aluminium headband is not very flexible, but it can be moved side to side. The aluminium yolk connects the ear cups to the headband, making it very strong. It does not allow the ear cups to move inwardly.
The build quality of these headphones was disappointing. Although I was hopeful that they would be more appealing to me after my testing, I am still disappointed in their quality. The Corsair RGB Elite Wireless headphones are not the best choice if you want a pair that will last.
The foam windscreen is the only way to adjust the mic levels. It didn’t improve my sound quality and it even picked upwind and heavy breathing around the microphone. It made my mic more sensitive to outside sounds and worse.
Both platforms establish a connection in seconds and the signal never dropped once. They can connect to my home via 40ft. They also did not have any audio latency. These devices also have a 16hr battery life that can be used while charging. Simply connect the 5.9-foot micro USB charger under the left earcup and the other end to a USB.
I was very pleased with the Bluetooth’s ease of use and the quality connection. It was easy to use the Bluetooth and I didn’t have to worry about any cords getting in my way. The Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless was a great Bluetooth device.
The best gaming headphones are those that have excellent sound quality. It not only enhances immersion but is crucial for competitive games that require you to listen closely. It’s comforting that the Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless comes with a 7.1 Surround Sound as well as 50mm high-density drivers.
- Wireless Bluetooth for PC/PS4/PS5/Xbox One
- Mice have two options to muffle their voices
- Volume dial
- Earcups can be breathable
- Battery life 16 hours
- Quality feels cheap when you build it
- The surround sound of 7.1 is very quiet
- Average highs and lows are between the middle and upper ranges
- Lows aren’t strong
- Mobile is not your job
Headset Gaming Wireless Pc USA 2022 – Conclusion
The Corsair Void RGB Elite falls short of all expectations for a headset that is supposed to be a premium product. The overall design, packaging, and build quality of the Corsair Void RGB Elite are a little tacky. We are not impressed by their functionality. This includes the ability to connect wirelessly and the accessibility volume dial. So this concludes our review for Headset Gaming Wireless Pc USA 2022
